A mid‑’60s deluxe American combo amp emulation, from clean sheen to edge-of-breakup and into warm crunch with more drive. The studio cleans up with lighter picking and guitar volume roll-off or dig in for harmonically rich breakup. The room sits behind the amp sound so the core tone stays punchy.
Knob Controls:
- Drive – The “amp volume.” Lower settings are clean, glassy, and dynamic; around the middle, you get touch-responsive grit; at higher settings, the breakup gets thicker and more sustaining while staying smooth.
- Tone – A musical tilt. Left darkens and rounds transients; right brightens pick attack, and opens the top end. It’s great for taming bright single-coils or adding sparkle to humbuckers.
- Room – Places the amp in a room. Low values add subtle early reflections; mid values give a small club feel; high values bring a more ambient room without losing definition.
Footswitch Controls:
- Short press – Bright toggle. Adds extra sparkle and immediacy to the top end, great for cutting through without harshness.
- Long press – Room Size toggle (Small-Big). Small feels intimate and tight; Big adds longer decay and denser diffusion for a wider, airier space.
