A self-generating chord progression synth. No input needed—Synthesist plays evolving four-chord progressions on its own, while you steer the key, progression, and pacing. Full-wet output with lush space, stable tuning, and smooth chord flow. Warm pad stacks with triangle/saw/square flavors and gentle saturation run into a multi-delay reverb network.
Knob Controls:
- RootNote (0–24 st) – Sets the key center across two octaves.
- ProgPick – Select a progression. Choose from one of 20 musical four‑chord progressions (I‑V‑vi‑IV, ii‑V‑I‑IV, minor cycles, etc.), transposed by RootNote.
- Speed – Chord duration (slow → fast). Adjusting Speed overrides tap tempo and locks out further tap tempo input until the device is restarted.
Footswitch controls:
- Short press – Tap Tempo.
- Long press – Cycles 10 oscillator/transition setups:
- 0–4 – Snappy transitions (Tri, Saw, Tri+Saw, SoftSq, Tri+Saw+Soft).
- 5–9: Same five flavors with Smooth transitions.
