GritFold Phaser
Modulation
A slow, chewy phaser with grit and a little “warped tape” motion. It stays thick and musical at low rates with extra notches and subtle jitter to keep the sweep alive, while the drive adds texture without the piercing, whistling peaks you get from some phasers. In silence, a faint noise bed keeps the movement audible so you can hear what you’re shaping.
Knob Controls:
- Slow – Sweep rate (0.01–0.80 Hz)
- Grit – Adds asymmetric drive to each stage and tightens the feedback for a rubbery snap.
- Fold – Warps the sweep timing and adds chewiness by thickening the phaser texture.
Footswitch controls:
- Short press – Reverse feedback toggle (with a tiny “gulp” hop).
- Long press – Reset. Normal feedback, Grit 0.4, Fold 0.3, sweep phase reset.
