“Got my Polyend Tracker in late 2020 to use as a standalone sound design and sampling tool. I felt it could be useful as a musical sketch pad, for making field recordings and sample pack creation. When Polyend began doing the Tracker Scene Blog I thought I might try and see how far I could go with making a song as I would in my DAW and share the project with other tracker users.”

“‘Dimension X’ track is a result of my exploring and getting to know the Tracker. The song is inspired by the 1950s radio show of the same name which is now public domain. The Polyend Tracker was used to sample the radio show and create a spacey, bass-heavy, minimal deep dubstep track around it. I recorded all the sounds in the track and most of them can be found in various sample packs on the Gradient Lab Bandcamp page. Dimension X was mixed in the Polyend Tracker and recorded in Cubase. I mastered the final mix in Wavelab.”
