Birch

Birch started as an attempt to create the most organic, natural sounding drum kits for Step possible. We think we’ve succeeded, creating 25 new kits for Step. But since Birch also works perfectly for any device, a folder compatible with Play’s file structure with drums organized by type is also included. These samples are also ideal for layering with processed drums to add a humanistic element. Birch is sampled from a Pearl Vision VSX birch kit, using 11 microphones for full-bleed realism and natural space. Everything from raw punchy rock drums to disco kits can be found inside.
