Smooth tape compression with pre/de-emphasis, musically asymmetric bias, and optional low-end “head bump.” Full-wet with no added gain staging.
Knob Controls:
- Drive – Input into the tape stage(0–24 dB, default 8). Expressive range from sheen to rich saturation.
- Tone – Post-saturation low-pass for tape softness vs. openness(2000–18000 Hz, default 8000).
- Bias – Asymmetric bias for 2nd-harmonic sweetness or growl(-0.9–0.9, default 0).
Footswitch Controls:
- Short press – HeadBump toggle (~80 Hz resonant lift).
- Long press – HardKnee toggle (firmer saturation curve).
