Lo-Ball is designed to emulate the classic, gritty, and warm sound of the Amiga. Bitcrush and Sample Rate controls introduce low-resolution texture, metallic aliasing, and brittle digital artifacts, while Drive adds warmth and saturation before the signal ramps into distortion. The output stage includes a one-knob EQ, switchable low-pass filter, and animated filter modulation for darker, evolving textures.
Knob controls:
- Drive – Input gain and distortion intensity.
- Sag – Simulated battery drain, compression, and bias instability.
- Tone – Post-drive brightness and filtering.
Footswitch controls:
- Short press – Cycle clipping modes.
- Long press – Reset clipping mode and clear bias state.
