Overdrive shaped by voltage sag and unstable power behavior. Saguaro blends soft clipping with collapsing headroom, asymmetric breakup, and slow bias recovery for dynamic, sputtering drive tones. Three clipping modes range from smoother saturation to harsher gated textures. Internal oversampling keeps the distortion dense and detailed, even at extreme settings.
Knob controls:
- Drive – Input gain and distortion intensity.
- Sag – Simulated battery drain, compression, and bias instability.
- Tone – Post-drive brightness and filtering.
Footswitch controls:
- Short press – Cycle clipping modes.
- Long press – Reset clipping mode and clear bias state.
