“It feels a lot more involved than just laying out blocks in a DAW. Building the tracks in patterns aids me to be more creative and make more changes in my music creating more variety for those listening. I have hardly scratched the surface of the capabilities of this machine yet though. There are so many good effects that can be applied at ease and I especially love the way you can just record straight into it and edit your samples in no time at all.
I’m looking forward to using the performance mode more as well as it’s nice to make a simple loop on the tracker and then just let it roll why I scratch and cut over it. I would highly recommend this bit of kit to any producer wanting to switch things up a bit and keep things fresh. It adds a lovely crunch to your drums as well which is crucial in getting that authentic 90’s sound which for me is vital in my music.”
