Seisuke Dohi: European Furniture

"Just one year ago I was searching for a polyphonic sequencer, and luckily I found the Polyend Seq MIDI Step Sequencer."

“I fell in love with the Seq immediately. It’s so elegant, like a piece of European furniture. But the appearance is not everything here, what I like best about the Seq is its simplicity of use. With its truly ‘what you see is what you get’ interface, it took me only a couple of hours to learn almost all of its features. Operating the Polyend sequencer brings a lot of fun, It’s very intuitive, a real creativity booster!. The piano line in the track below was generated using the Seq’s randomization function.”

“I often use the Seq with a hardware looper that can accept MIDI signals. In this track, the Seq is synchronizing with the looper, which plays back the trumpet’s sound that has gone through effects pedals.”

“This is one of the first songs I ever made using the Seq. On this short video, the Seq sequences both hardware and software instruments.”
