Delay Lines
Delay, Experimental
Delay Lines is based on an original Max/MSP patch by Jonny Greenwood, adapted for Endless after a conversation about recreating some of his effects on the pedal (full story here). The result is a tempo-synced dual delay that automatically alternates between two independent delay divisions, creating evolving rhythmic patterns from a single tapped tempo.
Knob controls:
- Div A – selects Delay A’s tempo ratio (musical subdivision/multiplier from the internal ratio list).
- Div B – selects Delay B’s tempo ratio (from the same ratio list).
- Feedback:
- Normal Mode: Sets feedback amount
- PingPong mode: set the bar-quantized interval (0.5 to 4 bars), default 1 bar.
Footswitch controls:
- Short Press – Tap Tempo. Sets the global tempo reference. Does not trigger the A↔B crossfade.
- Long Press – Toggle Normal ↔ PingPong.
