Bias-starved gain stages create a spitting, gated attack that opens up as voltage increases. Dense clipping delivers a compressed, chainsaw tone, while a resonant mid-scoop shapes the signature hollow, formant-like character.
Knob controls:
- Bias – Starved → full voltage (gated → open)
- Fuzz – Drive and compression (0–2)
- Scoop – Mid scoop depth + resonance
Footswitch controls:
- Short press – Toggle hi-gain mode.
- Long press – Cycle clip topology (3 modes).
